Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 August 2026

The short version. This website has no accounts, no forms, no cookies, and no analytics. We do not track you here. If you email us, we keep that email so we can reply. That is the whole of it — the detail below exists because we would rather be precise than brief.

1. Who this policy is for

This policy covers pltechlabs.com, the website of PL Tech Labs, a registered sole proprietorship based in Gurugram, Haryana, India. PL Tech Labs is the data fiduciary (under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) and the data controller (under the GDPR) for the limited processing described here.

It does not cover our products. Each product has its own privacy policy governing the data it processes; for Metricstab, see metricstab.com/legal/privacy. If you are a customer of one of our products, that policy is the one that applies to your account data.

2. What we collect on this website

Nothing that you actively give us, because there is nothing here to fill in. This site is static: there is no sign-up, no contact form, no comment box, and no JavaScript running in your browser.

Two things nonetheless involve data:

  • Server request logs. The site is served by Google Firebase Hosting, which records standard request information — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer, and user-agent string. These logs exist to deliver the site, keep it available, and defend it against abuse. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we do not combine them with anything else.
  • Email you send us. If you write to ravi@pltechlabs.com, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever is in your message. We keep it so we can reply and maintain a record of the correspondence.

3. Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tag managers, pixels, session recorders, or advertising trackers. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a font CDN, specifically so that loading a page does not disclose your IP address to a third party.

4. Why we are allowed to process this

Server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure, available website. Email correspondence is processed on the basis of legitimate interest in responding to you, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. Where the DPDPA applies, both rest on the legitimate uses recognised for responding to a person who has voluntarily provided their data.

5. How long we keep it

Hosting request logs are retained by Google for a limited period under their standard retention schedule, and we do not export or archive them. Email correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful for the matter it concerns, and reviewed periodically. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time.

6. Who else sees it

We do not sell personal data, and we never will. Two processors are involved:

  • Google (Firebase Hosting) — serves this website and holds the request logs.
  • Our email provider — receives and stores email sent to our address.

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to. Because our processors operate globally, data may be processed outside India; we rely on the safeguards those providers offer for such transfers.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, ask us to erase it, object to or restrict our processing, receive a copy in a portable format, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

To exercise any of them, email ravi@pltechlabs.com. We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local data protection authority. In India, that is the Data Protection Board.

8. Children

This site is a corporate website intended for a business audience. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS only, with HSTS enabled and a strict Content Security Policy. It is entirely static, so there is no database and no application layer here to compromise.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles data — for example, if we ever add analytics — we will update this page and change the date at the top before the change goes live. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.

11. Contact

Questions, requests, and grievances about this policy go to ravi@pltechlabs.com. Our business details are listed on the about page.
