PL Tech Labs is a registered sole proprietorship based in Gurugram, India. We create software products, take them to market, and then run them ourselves.
How we're set up
Plenty of software businesses are organised around a single product. We are organised around the act of building them. PL Tech Labs is the business that makes the products, signs the contracts, and carries the costs — while each product is run on its own terms underneath that.
In practice that means a product is judged on its own merits. It has its own customers, its own pricing, its own roadmap, and its own path to paying for itself. Our job is to give it the time and the infrastructure to get there, and to make sure the lessons from one product make the next one better.
Today the portfolio is one product, Metricstab, which is live and serving customers. We would rather say that plainly than dress up a roadmap.
Where we work
We operate from Gurugram, in the Indian state of Haryana, and serve customers internationally. Our products are billed in USD through a merchant of record, and our infrastructure runs on Google Cloud.
Because we handle personal data belonging to people in several jurisdictions, we hold ourselves to the stricter standard rather than the closest one: data minimisation by default, clear retention limits, and no sale of customer data under any circumstances. The detail for each product lives in that product's own privacy policy.
